When my wife and I started attending North Mobile we were in our early twenties and I had no idea what it meant to be a man of God much less a husband or dad, but through your example I learned it was ok to show my emotions without fear of being weak, to publicly profess my love for not only God but also my spouse, and to always put my family first. I want to thank you for helping me become the husband and dad I am today. My family will always be praying for you and your family.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21739861.post-68011303425657500152007-11-13T16:37:00.000-08:002007-11-13T16:37:00.000-08:00A woman tells the story of how as a child she acqu...A woman tells the story of how as a child she acquired a rare eye disease. She struggled with it her all her life as it impaired her vision. Nothing could be done medically for it. Being a christian she often prayed for God to heal her-miraculously or otherwise. She grew to be a woman with a family. There came a time when God had her family move to a city where there were 2 doctors who could finally help her. After her surgery which was fabulously successful she asked one doctor when he had begun to research this particular disease. He told her it was 32 years ago. The very time that she began as a child to pray for God to heal her. And the scripture she used was, 'God makes all things beautiful in time'.Does that mean we have to wait 32 years to get better? No. I think it means that God is working on our behalf even when it doesn't look like anything is happening at all. That he begins to work the moment we pray. That he is orchestrating people and events and places on our behalf-but not only for us but others like ourselves who suffer too.
My very soul has been damaged. I can feel it. My mind, will and emotions have been wounded.Who will heal me?Who will repair me?
The Lord,my shepherd,he is the only one who can restore my soul. How will he do it?
By making me lie down in green pastures and leading me beside still waters. Will I listen and let him lead me and guide me to those places so that I can heal?I hope I can.
Restore me Lord-I am your lost lamb.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21739861.post-2884005475684112322007-11-12T08:55:00.000-08:002007-11-12T08:55:00.000-08:00I love the fact that God uses every part of our li...I love the fact that God uses every part of our lives, even the parts we expect Him to use least, for His work.
